I gave this 4 out of 5 stars as it's the first yellow dye I tried. So even though I'm 100% happy I can't say if other yellows are better. This Directions colour has a really nice creamy, nearly 'custardy' texture which makes it easy to spread & no problem to keep of the skin. I find it a nice & sunny colour without going into orange. All in all I can only recommend it, but Direction colours work best for me anyway.
