My hair's a lightish brown naturally and it lifts the colour right out and turns it almost white within 10 mins or so; you do need a mixing bowl and brush, but it means the bleach is in a proper bottle rather than the applicator ones you have to throw out after use even if you havent used up all the bleach, so you can keep it if you dont use it all up and have enough to do your roots the next time!
