FAQ - Delivery & Postage

If I Place My Order Today When Will I Receive My Delivery?
Where possible orders are dispatched within 1-2 working days of payment being received (excl weekends and public holidays) and delivery is normally 1-3 days for UK orders and 1-2 weeks for overseas orders. As we rely on Royal Mail to deliver most orders we have to allow upto 15 working days for UK deliveries and 25 working days for most overseas deliveries before we can class an order as missing in transit. For UK orders you can choose Next Day Delivery at checkout if your order is urgent or required by a specific date. We can also now offer a 'Collect from Warehouse' option - this will allow you to get your items quicker and also to pay no postage charge. This new collect option will show up automatically at checkout if you are within 30 miles of Dundee.

How Much Are Your Postage/Delivery Costs?
For UK orders we offer three delivery options, 1st Class (now called Parcel 24), 1st Class Recorded (now called Signed For) and Next Day Delivery. For Overseas orders the delivery options are Airmail & Airmail Signed For/l Insured. Delivery prices are based on overall order value and a full list of all delivery prices can be seen Delivery Costs.

Which Delivery Options Do You Offer?
For UK orders we offer three delivery options, 1st Class (now called Parcel 24), 1st Class Recorded (now called Signed For) and Next Day Delivery. If you are within 20 miles of Dundee you can also choose the free 'collect order' option. For Overseas orders the delivery options are Airmail & Airmail Signed For/Insured.

Can I Get Next Day Delivery?
If an order is placed and paid for by 1pm on a weekday we can normally arrange Next Day Delivery (Next Day orders posted on Mon, Wed & fri only). Deliveries will not be made on weekends or public holidays although Royal Mail may attempt delivery on a Saturday for orders dispatched on a Friday but this cannot be guaranteed. We use Royal Mail's special delivery and although they will usually try to deliver before 1pm we only guarantee delivery on the next working day and cannot say it will arrive by a specific time. There are a few areas where Royal Mail/Couriers are unable to guarantee next day delivery - should you live in the Northern Highlands, not on Mainland UK or in another remote area it is advisable to check with us first before purchasing as sometimes Royal Mail's 'Next Day Delivery' can actually take 2 or 3 days to these more remote areas.

Do You Ship To Overseas Countries?
We send orders worldwide. Any charges levied to the parcel by your Country's customs are not the responsibility of Beeunique and will be payable by you, the buyer. It is also advised to check that none of the items or ingredients are prohibited in your country - if an order is returned to us due to your Countries prohibited items we reserve the right to retain a nominal amount for packaging, postage and time before issuing a refund to you.  Royal Mail have a 2kg max llimit for International parcels so orders over this weight will be split into 2 or more parcels.

Do You Ship To The USA & Canada?
Yes. We can currently ship to all countries worldwide.

What Happens If I Have Entered The Wrong Delivery Address?
If the order has not yet been dispatched then please Contact Us straight away giving the order reference number and the correct address details. If the order has already been dispatched we will issue a refund less postal and payment charges we have incurred, and then only once the parcel has been returned to us by the postage/courier service. If you would like the item(s) re-delivered to your new/correct address you may re-pay the postage costs to have the order sent to the correct address, again this can only happen once the original parcel has been returned to us. Please therefore ensure that all Address/Delivery information on your account is correct and up-to-date - if you are unsure how to remove an old address please contact us where we can update your account for you.

Can You Leave My Parcel On My Property Or With A Neighbour?
If you wont be at home for a delivery we can deliver to a work or alternative address. We prefer not to leave parcels in bins, under benches, behind car etc as these parcels will not be covered against loss/theft - should you request your parcel be left on your property please bear in mind that you will not be refunded if the order is not received. As a general rule we wont mark on a parcel that it should be left outside a property however if you contact your local sorting office (Royal Mail delivery office) they may be able to arrange this for your parcels.

What Happens If I Am Not In To Accept Delivery?
If delivery has been attempted and nobody was home to accept the parcel or Royal Mail / Courier were not contacted to re-arrange delivery we will only issue a refund or send replacement upon receipt of the returned order to our premises. To re-send the order we would require postage costs to be repaid. These same condition will apply if a parcel has been rejected/refused delivery by the recipient.

What Happens To My Order During A Postal Strike?
A one-day postal strike can affect deliveries for several days or weeks due to the backlog of post created and therefore for each strike day we would need to allow an extra few working days for delivery before we could accept an order was lost in the post. After this extra time has passed we should be able to treat this as a normal lost item unless advised otherwise by Royal Mail. Postal strikes can affect all deliveries including Special Delivery/Next Working Day. As our mail is collected daily by Royal Mail and also due to the backlog created during these strike days Beeunique will not always be dispatching orders on Strike Dates and orders received during a royal mail strike period may be dispatched on the next normal working day for Royal Mail (this will apply to official and national strikes, however also for unofficial local ones that may happen with little or no notice). For information on proposed Royal Mail action and delivery service updates please check their website Royal Mail Service Updates

My Order Has Not Arrived What Do I Do?
Delivery normally takes only 1-3 days for UK deliveries and 1-2 weeks for Overseas deliveries however if your order has not been received after 15 working days (UK deliveries) or 25 working days (Overseas deliveries) please contact us giving your full name, address and order number and we will investigate further.  Due to slow customs and/or local postal services the delivery time for Italy, Israel & Brazil has been extended to 50 working days. We believe it is our responsibility to ensure you receive your order but we must wait the recommended delivery time from Royal Mail before accepting an order is lost in transit. The delivery period may be extended during periods of adverse weather conditions or Royal Mail strikes/industrial action etc.

Can You Tell Me More About Your Lost Order Process?
Our lost order form is a requirement by Royal Mail. it consists of two yes/no questions, needs to be signed and dated and then returned to us before we can arrange a refund or replacement order to be sent. The form would be emailed to you after the maximum delivery time has passed, 15 working days for UK orders and 25 working days for Overseas orders (50 days for Italy, Israel & Brazil). You can then complete and post the form back to us within 10 working days, or scan and email it back to us for quickness. Generally we would arrange a replacement order as soon as we receive the completed form however for repeated lost orders to the same address we may decide to investigate further before deciding on a course of action.  Please note as a Royal Mail business account customer Beeunique cannot claim for lost orders, but we still require these forms to be completed as they help Royal Mail to monitor and hopefully improve problem areas.

Delivery Delays:
Any postal strikes, pandemics, industrial action or extreme weather conditions that may affect the delivery of your order are beyond the control of Beeunique and we therefore must allow additional time for delivery during these periods. A one-day strike or weather problem can affect postal deliveries for several days due to the backlog created and therefore we would need to allow extra working days for delivery before we could accept an order was lost in the post. Beeunique cannot be held responsible for any adverse weather conditions, postal strikes or other industrial action (national or localised) that may affect the delivery of your order. Once strikes are over backlogs of mail may mean your order could still be delayed. Postal strikes/industrial action can affect all deliveries including Special Delivery/Next Working Day.For information on proposed Royal Mail action and delivery service updates please check their website Royal Mail Service Updates

Import Fees, VAT & Customs Clearance:
If your delivery address is outside the UK then import duty, vat and/or customs clearance fees may need to be paid before the parcel will be delivered - we have no control over these and requirements will vary between countries. It is the buyers responsibility to look into and pay these fees if applicable.
