Manic Panic Gels - 9th December 2008
Virgin Snow and Fuschia Shock Gel Formula have both been discontinued by Manic Panic.Fuschia Shock is still available in cream formula with Virgin Snow available as Amplified and Cream. There are only a few Virgin Snow Gel bottles left in stock and no more will be available once these are sold.

VAT Rate Changed - 30th November 2008
From 1st December 2008 to 31st December 2009 the VAT rate has been reduced to 15%. On 1st January 2010 the VAT rate should return to the standard 17/5% rate.

Recent Downtime/Offline - October 7th 2008
Apologies to any customers who were inconvenienced by our recent time offline. Two members of staff were struck down by a viral infection doing the rounds here and this caused a backlog of orders needing processing . Rather than take on more orders we felt it would be fairer to our customers to catch up on the backlog first. Happily we are now up-to-date with orders and hope to have all members of staff back at work soon. (Get Well Soon if your reading this)

Special Effects - September 12th 2008
All Special Effects Colours* are now back in stock. All pre-orders will be dispatched on Monday 15th September. *BAF Yellow is not in stock and is rarely made by sfx at present.

You can now add hair dye and bleach reviews without creating an account on Beeunique. Click the Add A Review link and enter as few or as many reviews as you wish. Hair Dye & Bleach Reviews are shown on Beeunique and Hair Dye Gallery Review Section.

Add Photo Page - 7th July 2008
You can now upload photos direct to Beeunique through our website. Simply click on the Add A Photo link, enter info and upload 1-5 photos at a time. Approved photos will be added to the Gallery on our next update. We accept jpg, gif & bmp files (zipped folders will be deleted).

New Competition - 16th June 2008
There is a new competition on our website. Each approved review will count as one entry into the competition. Prize will be a hair dye and tint set. Free to enter / No purchase required.

Gallery Update - 15th June 2008
The Beeunique Hair Dye Gallery has been updated. 49 new photos added along with a new hair dye review section. Reviews are listed per brand/shade so its easy to see how others rank a colour.

Add a Review - 14th June 2008
You can now add a review for any product on Beeunique without creating an account. Simply complete the relevant questions on our Add A Review form and once approved it will appear on Beeunique and our Hair Dye Gallery (if a hair dye or bleach review).

VAT/Pricing - 23rd May 2008
Although main prices are shown excluding VAT, all product descriptions on Beeunique now show the price including AND excluding VAT. VAT amounts also show in shopping cart and at checkout. Non UK/EU members will pay the excluding vat price.

We now sell seven brands of magazines with two more being added soon. The current magazines are: Alt Fashion, Bubblegum Slut, Devolution, Empty Playground, TNT Modified, TWF & Unscene, with Bite Me & Black Velvet being added soon. Magazines are sent vat free & postage free from Beeunique.

Hair Dye Gallery - February 20th 2008
Beeunique has updated their Alternative Hair Dye Gallery and you can now search by specific brand/shade e.g. Atomic Pink only as well as by colour e.g. all red photos together. There are over 1000 photos in the gallery at present with more being added. The gallery looks much clearer and is easier to view with these changes.

Lily the Donkey - February 6th 2008
Beeunique has adopted Lily from the Scottish Borders Donkey Sanctuary. This is a very worthy charity and you can adopt a Donkey for as little as £18 per year. Website details etc can be seen here

Protx (Card Payment) Error - January 2nd 2008 (NOW FIXED)
We are aware of a glitch in our card processing payment method where it will not let you create a new 3d-secure number at checkout (shows our website instead of your banks). We are working on this and hope to have it sorted in the next day or so. There is no security issue and people with an existing 3d-secure number can order and pay by card as normal. (Thanks Kizzie for notifying us of this problem xx)

Online - January 2nd 2008
After our upgrades the website is now back online and should be functioning as normal. Beeunique is now VAT registered and VAT will be added to prices where applicable at checkout (we have lowered many of our prices so this should not make a large difference to orders).
