Stargazer 30 Vol Bleach Instructions

Please note:
The following information and instructions are as shown on Stargazer Bleach Kits on March 2007. We cannot be held responsible for any incorrect or out-dated information and as such highly recommend you read fully the instructions on the box and leaflet on the bleach kit you have purchased. Never use metallic items with bleach. Bleach must be fully rinsed from the hair before using a hair dye afterwards. Semi-Permanent Hair Dyes are unlikely to stick to the hair if it still contains bleach traces or has been conditioned.

Contents:
Cream Peroxide 30vol .9%, Bleach Sachet, Gloves, Spatula, Tray (colour may vary), Multi Language Instructions

Caution:
Please read all instructions carefully before use. Always keep powder closed until ready to use. Keep them in a cool, dry place away from children. Be careful to keep away from eyes, eyebrows and eyelashes. Do not bleach if scalp has any cuts or abrasions. This product contains ingredients that may cause skin irritation. It is advised to do a strand test to check whether there is an irritation and also to give an indication of the final result and processing time. If the mixture or powder gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and contact a doctor.

 

Mixing:

1.
Use the gloves provided
2.
Pointing the products away from the face when opening and avoiding inhalation of the products. Empty the powder bleach into a non-metallic bowl.
3.
Add the hydrogen peroxide and stir until creamy.
   
Application:
1.
Never wash hair before bleaching, only use on dry hair.
2.
Apply evenly to lengths and ends of hair first with the aid of a tint brush or gloves working towards the roots
   
Development:
Development time for 30 vol peroxide (9%) mix to process the natural hair colour to the decoloured stage:

Check hair as soon as the minimum processing time has passed. Using a damp paper towel remove the mixture from a strand. Reapply if further processing is required. Be sure to check hair every 10 minutes to avoid over processing the hair.
     
Rinsing:
Using luke warm water and shampoo thoroughly avoiding getting the 'wash off' in the eyes.
 
Creme Peroxide:
For use with all permanent tints and powder bleaches.
Superb cream consistency.
Excellent conditioning formula.
Fully stabilised.
For professional use only.
 
Warning:
60vol (18%) cream peroxide is a chemical concentrate not a hair cosmetic. Do not apply direct to the hair. Dilute to 40vol (12%) or below before use.
 
Caution:
Contains hydrogen peroxide. Always wear suitable gloves when applying. Avoid contact with eyes and skin, rinse immediately with water if contact should occur. Seek medical advice if irritation persists. Keep away from children. Store in a cool dark place.
There must be a break of at least two weeks from the previous hair treatments before applying the treatment to the hair.
If you are a beginner or unsure then please enlist the help of an assistant to aid the checking and application process.
Cream Peroxide Ingredients:
Aqua, hydrogen peroxide, cetearyl alcohol, oleamide dea, ceteareth 30, glycerine, acetic acid, pentasodium penetate, phosphoric acid, sodium stannate, benzoic acid disodium prophosphate, ammonium hydroxide.
Bleach Powder Ingredients:
Potassium persulphate, sodium persulphate, magnesium carbonate, diammonium phosphate, magnesium oxide, hydroxethylcellose silicia trisodium phosphate E.D.T.A, hydroxypropyltrimonium hydrolised keratin inci 77007.
